Lapacho (Handroanthus impetiginosus) is a tree native to South America. Its bark has long been used traditionally in South American pharmacopoeia.

It naturally contains various plant compounds, including minerals, trace elements, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and quinones, such as lapachol. ESC Laboratoire selects Lapacho bark in the form of a pure, dehydrated plant.

Instructions for use

For an adult horse weighing approximately 550 kg:

40 g per day for 3 weeks.

If possible, divide the daily amount into 2 doses, mixed directly into the feed.

The course can be repeated if necessary.

The amount should be adjusted to the horse's weight and needs. In case of doubt or before extending supplementation, seek advice from your veterinarian.

Precautions for use

Ask your veterinarian for advice to determine the appropriate withdrawal period. ESC usually recommends 72 hours.
